About the Retreat
Come deepen your practice in Bali, a truly Tantrik and spiritual environment where there is no separation of spiritual life from daily life.

For the Balinese, life is a practice of total integration.

Practice Adi-Yoga and meditation with Dharmanidhi Sarasvati on an airy, bamboo platform overlooking lush green rice fields and lotus ponds.

About Adi Yoga
Adi-Yoga is Hatha Yoga as it was meant to be. Adi-Yoga is classical, life-affirming, kundalini awakening, and Tantrik.

Instruction includes pranayama, asana, mantra, meditation and philosophy.

Open to all levels.

Days will consist of two sessions of yoga and meditation, with restful downtime carved out in the middle of your day, leaving you free to relax or explore.

We'll also visit local temples and markets. There will also be Q&A sessions and lectures over breakfast and in the evenings.

Accommodation
We’ll be staying at Ananda Cottages in Camphuan, a 25 minute walk or $1 - $2 transport ride from the center of Ubud.

See the website: anandaubud.com, although the website doesn’t do the place justice!

Ubud, Bali
Bali is a treat for the senses. You can truly explore second cakra sensual fulfillment during your stay in Ubud.

For the eyes and ears, there are amazing dance and music performances every night. The streets are filled with painters’ shops, wood carvers stalls, sarong stores, and more.

For the tongue and nose, cafes and restaurants abound, with a typical meal costing between $3 and $7 dollars. There are natural food cafes like Bali Buddha and Kafe, and restaurants with more traditional fare like Batan Waru, as well as new/old fusion restaurants like Warung Enak. There’s also an amazing grill at Naughty Nuri’s, just up the road from Ananda Cottages.

For touch, there are many massage spas in town where you can have a simple treatment or an extravagant spice rub and milk bath with flowers. Prices are generally in the $10 - $30 range for 90 minutes!

And for the spiritual sense, just the experience of being with the Balinese people as they go about their day – making offerings, dealing with one another and you, working, playing, dancing, cooking – is a lesson in deep integration, compassion, and wisdom of what is real.
